1. Introduction

Welcome to Fast Rwanda Car Rental. By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please review these terms carefully before using our services.

2. Definitions

• “Company” refers to Fast Rwanda Car Rental.
• “Renter” refers to the individual or entity renting a vehicle from the Company.
• “Vehicle” refers to any car, SUV, 4×4, minibus, or other vehicles rented from the Company.

3. Rental Agreement

By renting a vehicle from Fast Rwanda Car Rental, the Renter agrees to the terms set forth in this rental agreement. This agreement is legally binding and covers the rental period as specified in the rental contract.

4. Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Fast Rwanda Car Rental, the Renter must:

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Provide a valid identification document (passport, national ID, etc.).
• Provide a valid credit/debit card for the security deposit.

5. Rental Period

• The rental period begins at the time and date specified in the rental contract and ends when the vehicle is returned to the Company.
• Late returns may incur additional charges.

6. Vehicle Use

• The Renter agrees to use the vehicle only for lawful purposes.
• The Renter shall not use the vehicle for any illegal activities, off-road driving (unless renting a 4×4 for such purposes), racing, or towing.
• The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, except for normal wear and tear.

7. Payments

• The Renter agrees to pay the rental fee, including any additional charges, taxes, and fees as specified in the rental contract.
• A security deposit is required at the time of rental and will be refunded upon the return of the vehicle in satisfactory condition.

8. Insurance

• Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental price. This covers third-party liability and damage to the rental vehicle.
• Additional insurance options are available for purchase to cover theft, personal accident, and comprehensive coverage.

9. Fuel Policy

• The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel and should be returned with a full tank.
• If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, refueling charges will apply.

10. Maintenance and Repairs

• The Renter is responsible for routine maintenance (e.g., oil checks, tire pressure).
• Any necessary repairs due to mechanical failure will be covered by the Company.
• The Renter must inform the Company immediately of any damages or issues with the vehicle.

11. Accidents and Breakdowns

• In case of an accident, the Renter must inform the Company and the local authorities immediately.
• The Renter must obtain a police report and cooperate with any insurance claim processes.
• In case of a breakdown, the Company will provide roadside assistance.

12. Cancellation Policy

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the rental start date will be fully refunded.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the rental start date will incur a cancellation fee.
• No-shows will be charged the full rental amount.

13. Prohibited Uses

• The vehicle shall not be used by anyone other than the Renter or authorized drivers specified in the rental contract.
• The vehicle shall not be used to transport illegal substances, hazardous materials, or for any illegal activities.

14. Limitation of Liability

• The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the vehicle.
• The Company’s maximum liability shall be limited to the rental fees paid by the Renter.

15. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Rwanda. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Rwanda.

16. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to the Renter and will take effect immediately.
